Kiwanis Holiday Lights at the Carnival of Lights!

Experience the magic of their stunning light displays while you relax in the comfort of your vehicle at our festive light show.

November 26, 2025 will be Kiwanis night to honor the Kiwanis group. 50% of all full-price gate fees (non-PTO fundraising groups, etc).

We are thrilled to announce the incredible donation in 2024 from the Kiwanis Club of West Racine! Their generous contribution includes a stunning waterfall, a charming train, an enchanting iceberg, playful penguins, and many more festive delights.

The tradition of these beautiful holiday displays dates back to the mid-1960s, when the Wheary Family of Racine began creating intricate displays at their family home that quickly became a cherished local attraction. Year after year, their displays drew large crowds and brought holiday cheer to the community.

In the 1980s, the Wheary family gifted these displays to the City of Racine, and by 1987, the Kiwanis Club took over and moved them to the Racine Zoo. With the dedication of 20-30 volunteers, including electricians from IBEW, this display became a beloved holiday fixture in Racine.

We are honored to carry on this legacy at the Christmas Carnival of Lights, where visitors will find these treasured pieces along our drive-through and walk-through paths. This gift from Kiwanis celebrates the spirit of collaboration and community, keeping this cherished tradition alive in Racine County.

Thank you to the Kiwanis Club for entrusting us with these beloved displays. Here’s to a holiday season filled with new magic and nostalgic joy!
